IL PARADISO DI MANFREDI
The history of Il Paradiso di Manfredi wines began when Manfredi Martini, an expert in agriculture and viticulture and his wife purchased the estate “Il Paradiso” in 1958. The estate sits on the side of the hill in Montalcino, it is a 3ha property with 2.5 ha of vines, majority of which produces Brunello.
The winery produces around 9000 bottles of Brunello and Rosso Riserva annually made only from 100% Sangiovese grapes. Vineyard management is traditional and natural, with no herbicides or fertilizers. The wines are aged in the highest quality oak casks, remaining there for a period of more than 36 months for the Brunello, more than 12 months for the Rosso and more than 48 months for the Brunello Riserva.
The wine-making is very traditional and bottling is done within the estate without having to use pumps, to avoid the stress caused by mechanical pumps. The wine develops in bottles for many years and is strengthened thanks to its natural and pure characteristics.
