LAMBARDI
Lambardi is one of the producers of Montalcino that was “born into” the production of the Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino. The estate is named “Canalicchio di Sotto” and is run by the family Lambardi. The production of the DOC and DOCG wines started back in 1973 and has in time followed the evolution of winemaking in this area. The vineyards span 22 acres and provides modest but excellent production of these famous wines. Lambardi manages everything in detail, from the vineyard, to the bottling and sales.
Lambardi wines have a depth and fullness that show off the quality of the fruit. Their lushness and richness mean that the wines are accessible early or for drinking with 10-15 years’ ageing.
